rantem

Doesn't feel like christmas in hollywood
the ribbons wrapped around my wrists and neck
a coup d'etaut of antichrists
slavery still lives today
wage slaves raking up change
working with dead animals
to feed a greedy nation
stomaches bigger than their wallets
and all you can do is eat
sleep doesn't even come cheap
or with a conscience clean
when you dream
do you see me
or do you see tomorrow
nothing changes
history repeats itself
this blitzkrieg of beloved "soldiers"
who do you think you are
to brandish a weapon
in our name

no sleep makes me nothing more than a writing machine

pink lemonade sunset
staring out of the window
across the street
yardlights left on
just for me
if i call you home
will you call me tomorrow?
can we keep this a secret
or should we tell everyone
your friends and mine
its only a matter of time
load up the car and hit the road
like a popchart
singing songs on the way to rescue you
the castle is waiting for us
to hang our heavy heads up
let's just use our heart tonight
for as long as you'd like
until fatigue takes us under
like an anesthetic
sweet sweet sleep
put me to dreams
p.s.
all of the sense in the world
couldnt buy me on this one
i'm sold out

tell me a true story, its only a story that isnt that true

everyones a liar! redhanded and blue in the face!
way to choke on that last lap,
out of breath and off pace!
you broke the commandments,
youve lost the human race!

now i see the funny side, i'm always smiling

as sunlight pours into the room
waking up like the dead from a tomb
skin that feels ancient
dragging itself across the floor
hand to the graveyard door
turn the knob and down the stairs
head filled with secrets too doomed to share
just keep it locked tight inside the chest
only one has the key, none of the rest
spend hours lifeless inside of this hole
trying to find those days where you can find your soul
yet it doesnt really seem impossible
but the price is going up for fossil fuel
